The Town of Chelsea is a small, rural township in Taylor County, Wisconsin with a population of 710 people. We are located north of Medford, the county seat. Our 40 square mile landscape consists of rich farmland and tranquil wooded areas. We have two small unincorporated villages, Chelsea and Whittlesey. State highway 13 passes through our township. Considering our size and rural population, we have a lot to offer.
The Chelsea Conservation Club is a sportsman club for everyone, located at N6357 State Hwy 13. It's a great venue for weddings and parties. 715-748-3393. Check the club out on Facebook.
The Whittlesey Lions Park is located on Ballpark Dr. It includes 2 softball fields, a golf course, state of the art playground and a campground. Follow the Lions on Facebook.

MRC Sportsman's Club is a a shooting organization known for their sporting clays course on 80 wooded acres, along with a clubhouse. They are located at N6337 State Hwy 13.
The We Whittlesey Whizzers are the local snowmobile club that has been improving the snowmobile trails in the area for over 50 years. Follow them on Facebook.
The Pine Line Trail runs through the Town of Chelsea. This trail is used for biking, hiking, horseback riding & snowmobiling. Follow them on Facebook.
The Chelsea townhall is the site of the town meetings and elections. It is located at N5917 Settlement Dr. The townhall is also available for rent.
There are three houses of worship in the Town of Chelsea.
Trinity Lutheran -Medford is located at W5334 Dassow Ave., Medford. The worship service is at 9:00 am on Sundays.
Trinity Lutheran-Chelsea is located in the village of Chelsea at W5127 Elm Street. Worship service is Sunday at 11:00 am.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church is located at W5409 Whittlesey Ave. Mass time is 8:00 am Sunday morning.
